The 7 Truths: A Basic Guide for Mentoring Our Youth
“I wrote this book for those who are looking to get started in youth mentoring and even for those who already serve in that role. A mentor is a person who can support, advise, and guide you. The 7 Truths: A Basic Guide for Mentoring Our Youth is intended to teach you something new about being a mentor but will also serve as a reminder of other things that you may already know or have heard.
The information that I’m sharing in this book I learned while serving as the co-founder of a mentorship organization. I chose the number 7 for a couple of reasons. The first reason is that the number 7 represents divine completion and perfection, signifying that the time for me serving in my previous role as co-founder was complete and full. I also chose the number 7 to symbolize the number of years that I served in that role.” - Bilal Munir Rahim
